Nesbitt Hagood
Nesbitt Hagood, currently serving as the Managing General Partner at Tenon Ventures, is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist with a notable career marked by achievements in both entrepreneurship and academia.
Nesbitt was a tenured Associate Professor at MIT in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he founded and directed the MIT Active Materials and Structures Lab. In addition to his activities with the Deshpande Center, he currently acts as an MIT Venture Mentor reflecting his commitment to supporting startup teams in new venture creation and early execution.
Beyond MIT, as the Founder/CEO of Pixtronix, he played a key role in developing a new MEMS-based display technology, building the company and successfully navigating its acquisition by Qualcomm. In his role as CEO at Triib by Xplor, Nesbitt oversaw the acquisition and rebranding of a gym management SaaS company, leading to an acquisition by Advent International.
