Minimally invasive sensor
Diabetes patients require frequent monitoring of blood glucose so they can take action to avoid complications due to frequent hyper- and hypoglycemia (blood sugar levels). This project will develop a carbon nanotube-based, minimally invasive, tissue-implantable, “wearable” sensor that can measure and report a patient’s glucose levels on a continuous basis, allowing much better glucose control and resulting in better patient health.
