A therapeutic stress strategy in oncology
Controlling the function of overactive transcription factors is an emerging therapeutic stress strategy in oncology. The team has identified compounds that bind to protein complexes containing the prolific oncoprotein c-Myc and found a subset that modulate Myc-driven functions in cells, including Myc-mediated transcription. They will explore the therapeutic potential of Myc modulation.
